I love shoes! I know that you are not surprised if you know my Mom and Dad but, I love shoes! I have this new thing where I love putting on Mom's shoes. I tried to put on Dad's but they are so big, I cannot get around in them. In Mom's, it is much easier. My favorite pair is a red pair of heels that Mom wore to work this week. Any chance I get I go put these on and YES, I do walk around in them. I play in them, work in my kitchen in them, and overall, just look cute in them. Check me out . . .

Riding the Day Away
Today was so nice outside. We could hardly believe that it was 48 degrees here. It was the perfect day to put together my trike and give it a ride. At first, I was a little shaky but I got better. I still didn't get the whole steering thing down but it was still so much fun! I loved enjoy the weather, my trike, and finally being outside. We took a video too . . . check it out!

I Wish I Could . . .
I sure wish I could go outside and play in the snow before it melts away but just when I thought that I was getting better, another roadblock. I woke up early Sunday morning with a fever and it kept getting higher and higher. Even though Mom and Dad were giving me medicine, it wasn't keeping the fever down for long. We visited the doctor on Monday and she gave me some antibiotic so I hope that I will get better. So in the meantime, I just put my hat on and wish I could be outside playing. I know I look silly but it helps me feel better.

Winter Break
Last week was Winter Break up here and I was able to spend some extra time with Mom and Dad, as well as other family. Over the weekend, I was able to visit with some very special people and we had so much fun. We had Mom's favorite pizza, went shopping, played and walked at the mall, and went to Chuck E Cheese. I sure did sleep good last night.
It was such a blast and to top it all off . . . we got a snow day today so Mom and I get to relax from all of our fun and hang out some more. Unfortunately, I still have a runny nose so playing in it today.

Routine Kind of Girl
I have my certain ways about me, my certain routines and all - but, this is one that I have started lately that is pretty fun. No one really understands it but me but who needs to understand everything I do?
It all started because my potty is in the bathroom now and I like to go in and sit on it. Because I have started this routine, I have become very interested in toilet paper. Now each time I go in the bathroom, I have to pull out the toilet paper holder, unload it, stack it neatly, and then reload it again. I have gotten pretty fast at it too but finally, Mom caught me in the act and found it hilarious. Ii am just getting used to helping out with the chores but I don't think Mom and Dad see it yet.

Happy Valentine's Day
I just wanted to take a moment to say Happy Valentine's Day to everyone. I hope that you enjoy your day, your family, friends, and loved ones. I made sure to give Mommy and Daddy lots of hugs and kisses to show them how much I love them. And since I cannot do that for all of you, I want to say it! Happy Valentine's Day and spread the love.

18 Months Old
I have officially hit the Toddler Days. I turned 18 months old over the weekend and it feels great. I am not so sure how it feels to Mom and Dad, but to me, it is a lot of fun. Now that I am 18 months old, I am up to a lot! Here are some things that I am up to . . .
FAVORITES:
*Watching Yo Gabba Gabba and Dora on television
*Playing with my baby dolls and feeding them
*Playing in my Dora tent
*Climbing on everything
*Chasing Dad around the house
*Playing with toilet paper (don't ask)
*Opening and closing doors
*Sweeping the kitchen
*Helping Mom load the dishwasher
*Singing and dancing
*And much, much, more
MILESTONES:
*Running
*Climbing
*Talking all the time - I know lots of words and can repeat almost anything
*Telling Mom and Dad when I pee or boo-boo in my diaper
*Sitting on the potty (although no action yet)
*Talking on the phone
*Feeding myself with a fork and spoon
These are the only things we can think of right now but I am sure there is more. I am a busy toddler, always getting into things, wanting my way, and trying to get away with things! The real fun has begun!
