Christmas with the Family

This Christmas was so fun! Mom and Dad commented on how much more fun it was since I am older. Santa was good to me and we had so much fun with the family.

The fun started when I got my "new room". Mom and Dad transformed it and surprised me and I just love it!

On Friday, we headed to my Aunt and Uncle's house to start the holiday with family. On Friday, we had so much fun - watching movies, playing around and just being together. We even got to open a present since it was Christmas Eve.

On Saturday, we woke up and Santa had made a visit to the house and left lots of goodies. It was such a fun day filled with fun!

Once the whole crew got there on Sunday, the house was filled with family, love, and fun! We had an awesome time!

Busy Times . . .

Well this weekend was a busy one, but fun nonetheless! On Friday night, I had my Korean Tea Ceremony where I was testing for my yellow belt. It was my first session in Tae Kwon Do and I learned some tumbles, kicks, and punches. The coolest part is that I got to work with the Master to break a board with my foot! I was kind of nervous because there were so many people there but I still completed my mission - yellow belt! I will join my next session which starts in January.

Putting on my previous white belt.

Finishing my bear crawls.

Getting some coaching tips from Mommy.

My new yellow belt from the Master.

On Saturday morning, we got up bright and early for Breakfast with Santa. I went with my Godbrother and we had a lot of fun together. We got to play together, eat pancake breakfast, and visit with Santa. I kept my distance from Santa but he was pretty cool, he even went down the slide with some of the kids.

Santa was sitting by me but I didn't want him to know that I knew.

Santa was really nice but maybe next year!

Had fun with my Godbrother.

Later that day, we drove down to visit with my Uncle, Aunt, and cousins. We went to hang out and pick up a toddler bed. While we were there, they took us to a sledding place and we had a blast. It was so much fun and I cannot wait to do it again.

Prepared for some fun.

Sledding with Mommy.

Having fun sledding with Daddy.

And there are only 6 days until Christmas! Have a happy and safe holiday!!!

Weekend Winter Fun

The last two weekends have been filled with Winter Fun! Last weekend, we went to Noel Night where all of the museums, etc. are open to the public. They also had lots of yummy kettle corn and we ended of the evening by singing carols. It was a lot of fun to explore.

Today, it has been snowing all day and since it was terribly cold yet, we went outside to have some fun. I really liked making snowballs and throwing them at mommy. The whole family had so much fun being trapped at home in the snow!

Tae Kwon Do

Mom and Dad signed me up for a Toddlers' Tae Kwon Do Tumbling class. We have been working on rolls, hops, kicks, punches, jumps, etc. It is pretty fun considering during the first week, I would not participate at all. I am a girl who needs to be familiar with people so now I am really moving along. I got my 3rd stripe on Saturday and hope I get my next belt by the end of the session. I have 3 more weeks until the end of this session and then I can sign up for the winter session. It is really helping with my gross motor skills and I am really getting the hang of stuff.

Baby Love

Over the weekend, I got another cousin. We drove down on Sunday to visit with him and give him some love. He is so tiny-even though he is almost exactly my size when I was born. We all could not believe that I was actually that size! It was such a nice day to spend with family and meet my new cousin!

Halloween Fun

Over the weekend, I had Halloween plans. On Friday, I had tickets to a Halloween party at the cafe spot with jungle playscapes for kids. It was pretty cool because I got to play but I also got to paint (color) a pumpkin, decorate a cookie, and get a pumpkin tattoo. It was a lot of fun but after a long week, I did not last too long.

After some family time and extra sleep on Saturday, I was well rested for the big festivities on Sunday. Our town had trick or treat on Halloween so we went out that night. Dad lit a fire in the firepit and we hung out and watched the kids pass by. Mom and Dad had two huge bowls of candy and I was sure it was mine but then as these other kids came to our house, Mom was giving it out. I was so confused and was giving some mean looks to these kids who were taking my candy. It wasn't until I got to go walk the neighborhood and trick or treat myself that I understood. Once I got my own candy, I was not so concerned with the candy Mom and Dad had. I even said "trick or treat" and "thank you"! Now the only problem is that I always want some of this candy. I hope Mom and Dad do not catch on and put it "out of sight, out of mind" - I heard them mention it but I sure hope not! I was a lot of fun being older and able to join all the fun!

Fall Weekend With Some of My Favorite People

This weekend was an absolute blast! On Saturday morning, two of my favorite people came into town - Mamaw and Papaw. We had so much fun planned for the weekend and I am glad that they were able to make it to share with me.

On Saturday afternoon, we hung out and got really rested for an exciting evening. We had tickets to the Zoo Boo at our local zoo. Since the zoo is one of my favorite places added with candy and dressing up, I knew we could not go wrong. I got all ready in my costume, the "be-raffe". My godbrother and neighbors also joined us. It was so much fun and I could not believe all of the people! We had so much fun as you can see from the pics.

After an exciting evening, we took it easy today, and after my nap, we headed out to a farm nearby. We had never been there but I have to say that I would love to go back. They had a play area for kids, animal petting, a pumpkin patch, corn maze, donut and cider hut, and well you get the point. I played for a while on the John Deere tricycles then had some fun with the animals. I waited in line for the hayride and was so excited to ride back to the pumpkin patch. As soon as we almost got to the pumpkin patch, the skies opened up and it poured on us. So we skipped the pumpkin patch and rode back. Don't you know that when we got back to the front, the rain had stopped and the sun was back out. Of course! I was able to get a pumpkin after all and enjoy some awesome cinammon donuts and apple cider. Such a wonderful time!
