A Very Merry Christmas Indeed

Whew! There is no other way to start! What an amazing Christmas! I enjoyed time with family and friends and celebrating an amazing holiday.

It all started on Wednesday night when I got to open up some gifts from Mom and Dad. They thought it would make traveling a little easier if I opened my Yo Gabba Gabba DVD and my new magna doodle. I love them both. Then it continued with my Godbrother and his mom. We had dinner and exchanged gifts. They got me my very own shopping cart to go with my kitchen I love to play with. They also got me an Elmo purse-it has a compact, lipstick, change purse, etc. All just my size. It was a nice night.

Very early the next morning, we were off to spend time with Daddy's family. On Christmas Eve, we went to dinner with my Grandpa and my Uncle P. It was fun times and Grandpa gave me a great gift card that I cannot wait to spend! The next morning was the big day! I woke up and got to open more gifts and celebrate with Mommy and Daddy, Granny, Uncle C, Grandpa O, and V. I got two baby dolls that coo and make noises. One needs her paci or her bottle to soothe her and the other needs her blanket. I also got my very own potty! I have begun to tell Mommy and Daddy when I poo poo so they thought it would be a good gift for me. I also got a fishy lamp, Dora book and music player, and Dora doll. Later that afternoon, we were headed for family dinner where we got to see the rest of the family. You will never believe that when I got over there, I got a Leap frog ABC caterpillar, a play lawn mower, huge pink teddy bear, two book sets and an outfit. I would say that I did ok and it wasn't over yet! We had to leave family dinner to drive back home, where we were hosting Christmas with Mom's family.

On Saturday morning, Mommy and Daddy got up to start preparing for Family Brunch with Mom's family. They did a great job and put out a nice spread, thanks to the help of the great new griddle Mamaw and Papaw gave Mom and Dad. Once everyone got there, we enjoyed brunch. We had an adult table, girls kid table, and boys kid table. It was pretty fun! After brunch, we had a blast opening the mountain of gifts that Mamaw and Papaw brought, as well as my aunts, uncles, and cousins. Wow, there were people and gifts everywhere. Dad captured some shots of all the fun. I got so much stuff that I am sure that I am forgetting something but here are some of the things: baby doll, baby doll accessory set, caterpillar ride on, cabbage patch doll, Tinkerbell DVD, Dora cards, shoes, teapot set, Dora backpack, Little People school set, extra Little People, Dora tent and tunnel, my size tricycle, Dora doll, Little People car set, and a gigantic stocking filled with all kinds of other goodies! Wow, what a day. The next day we went to hang out at my aunt and uncle's house who also live here. It was fun, they did a great job on the food. My favorite was the cookies. We played so much that I forgot to take a nap until 6:00pm! Yes, that is so late. So Mom and and Dad were worried I would never go to sleep. I did, but it was late. There was just too much excitement.

Today, I have just been non-stop in playing with all of my new items. I cannot believe how good I was treated this Christmas. I hope that everyone had a very Merry Christmas and we are looking forward to a wonderful New Year!

Christmas Photos

Mom had the wonderful idea to get the Christmas photos of me and the family this weekend. Well I really wasn't up for it so I was not the most cooperative but I think somehow Mom managed to get some pretty good ones. I think that from being sick this week, I wasn't quite ready to jump in some tights and nice dress but we did it anyway! Mom was on a mission and well when Mom is on a mission . . . enough said!

Check out some of them . . .

16 Months Old

Today I turned 16 months old. Hard to believe! Although it wasn't the best day to celebrate, we tried to have fun! I had a rough night on Friday night and we just stayed in the rest of the weekend to fight my fever and running nose. I am starting to feel better finally today but we will have to see how it goes tonight.

So I bet you are wondering what I am up to now that I am 16 months old? Well I am up to a lot! A whole lot! I got a new guitar today that Mom and Dad caved in and gave me early. I am not mad about it because I am pretty happy that they couldn't wait until Christmas. I have been playing with that today because one of my favorite things is still music. I love it! Here are some of my other favorites and milestones . . .

FAVORITES:
*Music - of any kind! I just love music!
*Dancing - I dance to anything, music, commercials, videos, cartoons, anything!
*Dora - yes, I have found Dora! I like Diego too but Dora is my favorite right now!
*Yo Gabba Gabba - the show and music - Dad bought me the soundtrack and it is so much fun!
*Grilled cheese and bananas - my favorite meal right now!
*Taking baths - they are still so much fun!
*Running around - outside or in the house, it doesn't matter!
*Christmas tree and lights - I love when Mom turns on the lights in the house
*There is so much more that we cannot even think of right now!

MILESTONES:
*Running full force - no more walking unsteadily or like Frankenstein, I am on the move!
*Cutting a new teeth or two at least every week - I know finally!
*Climbing stairs - look out too, I am fast!
*Since I have completed my major ones, it is hard to name all the new things that I do! I am sure I am forgetting so much more!

I am just loving the holidays and enjoying my family! We have a lot of fun and are amazed that it has been 16 months!

Giving Thanks!

Well we know that we are a bit behind, but I would like to give thanks to God, my mom and dad, grandparents, other family, and friends. I would like to also give thanks for being able to spend time with family over the holiday! I always have so much fun!

During the beginning of the holiday, Granny P came up and stayed with me and even watched me while Mom and Dad embarked on the Black Friday deals. I certainly hope they found some really good stuff for me. I am sure they did!

On Saturday, we went to Uncle Da's house to visit and go to his first game as BB coach at his school. It was fun to visit with everyone and play with all my cousins. I came back and slept sooooo good. Too much fun!

Check out me and my cousins in the great shirts my Uncle Da got us to support his team . . .

All Dressed Up and Ready to Go

On Sunday, we went to a Choir Concert and so we all got dressed up really pretty. Mom and Dad looked okay but I think I looked the cutest! We had fun but I like to walk around a lot so it was hard for me to sit still very long. I just wanted to get down and dance and run around. It was pretty fun though and I enjoyed getting dressed up!

15 Month Fun!

On Friday, I was officially 15 months old. Yes, a toddler indeed. I love getting into things I am not supposed to, standing on things, climbing on anything I can, and just having fun! On Saturday, I had a play date with some friends and my godbrother at a cool place for only toddlers. It was fun because they had different rooms set up that I could roam around and play in. They had a library and puzzles, market, kitchen area, art area, dress up area, car and train area, theater, and more! It was a lot of fun and I hope Mom takes me back soon. I had a lot of fun because I could run around and roam without Mom or Dad trying to hold me back.

Halloween Fun

Wow! What a fun filled weekend! As Mom writes this, I am sitting watching television about to fall over asleep.

On Friday, I got to wear my costume to daycare for our little party. Mom made cookies with icing for all the kids and we had a great day.

Later that evening, we met up with Mamaw, Papaw, Uncle De, Aunt S and my cousins for Zoo Boo. That was an amazing activity! They were so creative with their decorations plus they had treat stations for candy. It was quite enjoyable. Even though it rained, it did not ruin our fun! We had a blast!

After a good night's sleep, we got up on Saturday morning to hang out for a while before the big day. Mom of course had to put me in my Halloween outfit!

Later that afternoon, we met up with my Godbrother and went to Java Jungle for their Halloween party! We had some fun but we were both so tired, we feel asleep in the car! We had to get a nap because later that evening, we were going trick or treating at my house.

Once we both recovered from all the fun at Java Jungle, we met up at my house and went trick or treating. Mom and Dad just knew that I would love walking around house to house, being that I love being able to walk on my own, especially outside. Much to everyone's surprise, I jumped right in my wagon and took the easy way out this Halloween. Everyone still loved my costume and thought I was adorable. My favorite was the house that gave me Cheetos! Oh how I enjoyed those!

On Sunday morning, we met the family for breakfast and enjoyed some time together before Mamaw and Papaw had to go back home. I loved the blueberry muffins there, they were so good. Once we said our goodbyes, my weekend was starting to come to a close. Time to get prepared for the week! But as least we got an extra hour right?

Halloween Partying Already

Yesterday, I got to attend my first official Halloween party! I was invited by one of Daddy's clients and I was glad because it was fun. They went all out too, there was lots of good food, apple cider, a hayride, haunted house, and lots of fun! Mom and Dad got me dressed up in my unicorn costume and I have to say that I was looking pretty cute indeed. Last Halloween, I was so little that I just got dressed up by Mom and Dad but didn't get to experience it other than that. This year, I can tell I am going to have fun! I already attended my first party, have tickets to Zoo Boo with my cousins, have a playdate on Halloween, and plan to trick or treat that night. I love being able to enjoy things! I know it is hard to see my face, but it is me, I promise!

A Visit to the Cider Mill with Mamaw and Papaw

This weekend I enjoyed a wonderful visit from Mamaw and Papaw. I was so happy to see them when they got here on Friday night. I showed them my new dance moves, talked their ears off, and spent a lot of good time with them.

On Saturday, Mom, Mamaw, and I went to Old Navy to take advantage of their sale on vests. I got the greatest one with hearts and of course, I had to have the hat to match. Once we got home, we picked up Dad and Papaw and headed to the market downtown to get some things. All of the fall items look so beautiful! We had a great lunch after that. We were trying to go to a local cider mill after that but when we pulled up, there were cars lined up down the street and people lined up everywhere! We decided that tomorrow may be a better day! So we went to a local mall and they let me run around and have some fun!

On Sunday, as promised, we got up and went back to the cider mill. It was a much better crowd and we even got a close parking spot! We toured the cider mill and I got to pick out a pumpkin to take home. Mamaw helped me pick out a small one that I could hold. I enjoyed playing int the pumpkins and hay. But most of all, I really enjoyed the fried donuts! Wow, were those delicious. I tried to get some of Mamaw's cider in the car on the way home, but there was none left. I heard it was pretty good too! We left and went to brunch and then unfortunately my weekend with Mamaw and Papaw was over. We had a blast! Thanks for visiting!
