Projects never seem to end at my house but it surely is a good thing that I have plenty to do. You may remember seeing my activity center before but now I am sitting up and playing with it. I still love the lights and the music. It was nice to have something to do while Mom put up some shelves in my room. I was pretty sure that my room was done when I got here, but Mom and Dad insist that there is more to be done. I was developing quite a collection of books and pictures so Mom decided it was time to complete the project of the idea she had over a month ago. I had a lot of fun with my activity center and watching Mom put the shelves up. They turned out pretty nice and the great part about it was I just had to play! Wow, what a life!

Happy St. Patrick's Day
Mom and Dad make sure that I am festive for every holiday or event! Mom found this shirt and thought it would be perfect for the day. I mean, it is perfect, since I am pretty into my Dad right now! The weather is so nice so Mom and I are heading for a nice walk outside. Enjoy your day and spread the luck!

Papaw's 60th
Over the weekend, we traveled to visit with family for my Papaw's 60th birthday party. We planned a surprise party for his 60th and we pulled it off really well! He had no idea! It was a lot of fun because I got to visit with Mamaw and Papaw, my aunts and uncles, and cousins. We all gathered at Mamaw and Papaw's house for the weekend. On Saturday night, we had everyone surprise Papaw and meet us at his favorite restaurant. I really enjoyed meeting some more of my family for the first time. I had a lot of fun!
While I was at Mamaw and Papaw's house, I got to explore the playroom. They have everything you could imagine. A whole room of their house is dedicated as a playroom for the kids. My favorite toy of the weekend was this car that my cousins pushed me around it. I think maybe I might need one of these! I had tons of fun and I cannot wait to visit with everyone again soon.

6 Month Appointment
Yesterday, Dad took me to my 6th Month appointment. It was a little overdue but better late than never. My pediatrician is pretty popular so it is often hard to get in quickly. Needless to say . . . here is how it went.
My stats are: Weight-16 pounds (50%) and Height-26 inches long (80%). Mom and Dad think I have definitely grown more than just a half inch since last time so they are planning their own measuring time.
I have started waking back up in the night so Dad asked about that. The doctor said that I may need more food. Right now, I have been eating 2 meals a day and bottles but he suggested maybe it was time for 3! I may be hungry at night. He also coached Dad on how to help me develop sleep patterns where I become more consistent in sleeping through the night. We are well on our way!
Lastly and sadly, I had to get more shots. I looked at my nurse very disapprovingly when she came in because I remembered her; she gave me those pokes last time. After I gave her the death look, she still proceeded to poke me! I screamed but afterwards, Dad did a good job settling me down. Today, I am okay but my legs sure do hurt. I took some Tylendol to relax me and I should be fine by tomorrow. I am just hanging out with Dad and Lexy right now, she must know I do not feel good.

Tummy Time
Every day Mom and Dad give me what is called Tummy Time. I used to hate it but I have to admit, I am getting a lot better with it. They put me on one of my fun blankets and lay toys all around it. Although I am catching on to their game, it still is a nice work-out. I don't even cry during Tummy Time anymore; as a matter of fact, I pretty much do whatever I like when I am in Tummy Time.
I like to watch "Pinky Dinky Doo" from my tummy,
Play with my toys
and the best thing - roll over onto my back. Mom is always so determined to give me Tummy Time but I have become so good at rolling over, I make the decision now when I am done. I think that I am hot stuff but I am having a lot of fun learning to be mobile!

Happy Valentine's Day!
I want to take this chance to wish everyone a Happy Valentine's Day! I spent my day with Mom and Dad and we shared a family Valentine's Day this year. This morning, Dad got up and made breakfast and shortly after I took my nap. Once I got up from my morning nap, I got a bag of goodies for Valentine's from Mom and Dad. I really liked my gifts. Once we had taken care of that, well it was time to put on my outfit. Mom was very determined to have me in red today to celebrate the day! Fortunately Mamaw and Papaw had gotten me a pair of red pants and new red coat. I was pretty fancy! We took a few pictures and then headed out to enjoy our day and evening out. We had a great family Valentine's Day. I sure am glad that Mom and Dad shared it with me on my very first one!

Can You Believe It? 6 Months Old!
Yes, you read correctly. I am 1/2 year old and having a ball! Mom and Dad thought it would be fun to take some pictures in some of my cute outfits. It was pretty cool but I kept spitting up and messing up the outfits. So we stopped after two outfits because we had all had enough (notice all the slobber). Mom and Dad swear that I am the cutest baby ever! My grandparents would agree, I am sure:)
With getting older comes some new favorites and milestones . . .
